The kids have a BIG science test on Wednesday. It's BIG because it's the first test we've had in science and covers all of the scientific practices we've been working on since the beginning of the year. We reviewed on Friday in class but it would be helpful for the kids to spend a little time studying over the tonight and on Tuesday. Just fifteen to twenty minutes each day could make a huge difference!
Here are some ways to study:
1. Study Guide- The kids have a study guide in their Homework Folder which outlines the four goals and some sample questions for each. Simply reading through the study guide is helpful. In class, the kids tried to answer each of the sample questions on their own and then we went over the correct answers together which they recorded. It would be an awesome way to study if you "quizzed" your child on these sample questions. Graphing data and drawing conclusions can be especially challenging and it would be great if you could practice this at home.
2. Click here to play Review Jeopardy. The kids have not seen this yet because we ran out of time in class!
If you can answer the study guide questions and the questions in the review Jeopardy without trouble then you are prepared for Monday's test!
